Installation and maintenance of emergency lights

1. In engineering design, for the convenience of maintenance and management in daily life, it is best to supply power to the fire emergency lighting layer by layer with a dedicated feed circuit.
2. To ensure the reliability of the power supply for fire emergency lighting, if possible, the low-voltage emergency bus section of the substation should provide power. That is, when using a diesel generator set as the emergency power supply, as long as the generator is put into use, it will have electricity to continue to ensure power supply.
3. In a fire situation, there is less smoke and more oxygen near the ground, and the instinctive response of people to evacuate is to bend or crawl forward. Therefore, local high illumination lighting is more effective than uniform illumination brought by high installation. Therefore, low installation should be advocated, that is, providing evacuation emergency lighting near the ground or at ground level.
4. Emergency lights are shipped in a discharged state and must be charged for 20 hours before being discharged.
5. Emergency lighting fixtures in use should undergo regular performance checks and undergo continuous switching tests every half a month or one month to check circuit switching and battery emergency functions, and discharge them to extend battery life.
6. Provide fire protection for distribution lines, and lay them in a non combustible structure when concealed, with a protective layer thickness of no less than 30mm; When exposed, wear metal pipes and apply fire retardant coatings or other fire prevention measures on the outside of the steel pipes; The line adopts fire-resistant cables or fire-resistant cables and wires.
